Question: Is there an easy way for Project Managers to see only their projects in queries/reports?

Answer

Saved Searches allows users to quickly retrieve their data.  One of the most common saved searches is the "IS ME" search.  Vision uses the Employee Number of the log-in to link to the Project's Project Manager field.  The list of projects can then be accessed on screen or printed in a report.  A Favorite Report can already have this information waiting for the Project Manager on their Dashboard.
